Mark D. Brooks, Esq.
Mark has served as an Assistant District Attorney since July 1, 1991 and was named First Assistant District Attorney in 2010. Some of his other duties in the District Attorney's office include being the lead prosecutor of drug and drug related offenses and heading up the Fayette County Drug Task Force. Mark is a graduate of Connellsville Area High School in 1978, Washington & Jefferson College in 1982, and Capital University Law School in 1985. Aside from his work in the District Attorney's office, Mark is a partner in the law firm of Watson, Mundorff, Brooks, & Sepic, in Connellsville, PA and is an electronic surveillance designee for Fayette County. In the court room, Mark has qualified as an expert in the field of narcotic investigation by the Court of Common Pleas of Fayette County. In March 2010, Mark was recognized by the Pennsylvania Narcotic Officer's Association with the Outstanding Prosecutors Award.
Linda Cordaro, Esq.
Linda has been an Assistant District Attorney since December 2005 and has prosecuted all types of cases, including homicides, drug cases, rapes, thefts, burglaries, and robberies. Since January 2010, Linda has served as the child abuse prosecutor for Fayette County. She handles child death cases and the crimes involving the sexual and physical abuse of children. Linda received her Juris Doctor Degree from the West Virginia University School of Law, after she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. She has been engaged in the private practice of law since 1994, and she is presently a partner at Horewitz, Cordaro, Dietz, & Miele, located at 120 South Third Street, Connellsville, PA. Linda focuses her private practice in the areas of family law, estate planning and administration, and real estate law. Linda presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Fayette County Bar Association. She also serves on the Downtown Connellsville Steering Committee and the Fayette County Behavior Health Advisory Board.
J.W. Eddy, Esq.
J.W. has been an Assistant District Attorney since January 4, 2010. He is a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School in 2001, Dickinson College in 2005, and West Virginia University College of Law in 2008. Along with his duties in the District Attorney's office, J.W. maintains a private practice, Eddy Law Office, in Uniontown, PA.
Gene Grimm, Esq.
Gene joined the District Attorney's Office as an Assistant Prosecutor in October 2001 and has prosecuted a plethora of cases. He earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the West Virginia University School of Law in 1993. In addition, he previously attended California University of Pennsylvania where he earned a Master of Arts in Social Science in 1993, a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1987, and a Bachelor of Science Education in 1987. He is a lifelong resident of Fayette County graduating from Albert Gallation Senior High School and Fayette Area Vocational Technical School in 1973. Gene maintains a private law practice located at 2698 Morgantown Road, Smithfield, PA. His private law practice consists of civl litgation including Medical Malpractice and Construction matters, Family Law, Wills and Estates, Real Estate Law, and Social Security Disability. Gene is currently the Municipal Solicitor for Point Marion Borough, Smithfield Borough, Springhill Township and Mountain Water Association.
Anthony S. Iannamorelli, Jr., Esq.
Anthony joined the District Attorney's office in December 2011 in the capacity of Assistant District Attorney. His other duties in the District Attorney's office include handling forfeitures and appeals. Anthony is a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School in 2004, the University of Notre Dame in 2008, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2011. Outside of the District Attorney's office, Anthony maintains a private practice in Uniontown, PA.
