Fayette County offers a comprehensive benefit package to its employees including:

Vision is provided by Highmark Designer Advantage.
Basic Life Insurance paid by the county.
Optional Life Insurance. Employees have the option to purchase additional Life Insurance for themselves, spouses and dependent children.

Dental Plan

Dental program is provided by United Concordia Company Inc (UCCI) – the dental company of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield
UCCI has an extensive network of participating providers who will accept UCCI allowances and minimize your out-of-pocket expenses
The dental benefits are “progressive”, that is the amount of payments increases in the second and third year of enrollment in the program

Vision

All employees who are enrolled in one of the medical benefit programs will have a basic vision benefit, which provides one eye exam every two years, at no cost.
In addition, an enhanced vision program is offered on a voluntary basis
The program provides significant benefits for exams, frames, lenses, and contacts
If you use a provider that participates with the Highmark Designer Advantage, you will receive 100% benefits for exams and allowances on frames, lenses and contact lenses after a co-pay is met
The program also provides benefits for exams, frames, lenses and contacts with non-participating providers.
