The first two miles of this trail has been designed and 3/4 of a mile has been constructed beginning from the Lardin House and moving in a southwesterly direction toward the Monongahela River. 

 

German Township owns property to the Monongahela River. 

 

Design plans have been approved by PennDOT. 

 

Additional Federal Transportation Enhancement funding will be needed for futher development of this trail project.
