Mission Statement

Fayette County Behavioral Health Administration is formerly known as  Fayette County Mental Health Mental Retardation but changed its name effective July 1, 2009.  The program is committed to providing access to and assuring choice among the best behavioral and developmental resources that promote recovery and resiliency.

Located in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, the Fayette County Behavioral Health Administration (FCBHA) has been serving Fayette County residents for over four decades. Due to our in-depth knowledge of the supports and services available in the region, staff members are experts at connecting people who need services with a provider or organization that will best meet their individual needs.

Care/Case Managers at FCBHA will recommend organizations that have demonstrated a long and successful history of treatment in their area of expertise. Once an agency has been selected, FCBHA then works closely with both the individual or family and the service provider to ensure that the individual gets the support they need, when they need it. We can also assist in the processes for requesting financial support and gaining access to available funding sources.  Finally, a big part of our job is to monitor providers, services, and community supports for quality and effectiveness throughout the process.

If you are in search of help for yourself or someone you love, FCBHA can help.  We know which services and supports are most appropriate and this knowledge allows us to facilitate the search for quality care, so that you can get the help you need immediately.
